Coaching, simply put, is about having powerful open conversations between the coach and client, helping you find the clarity and confidence to move forward in your life or career.  The sessions are always led by your needs, desires, aspirations and challenges you may be facing, as I believe you possess huge potential to resolve your own issues.

I, as a coach, use carefully selected questioning techniques that inspire, motivate and empower you to achieve your goals, helping you to think big, discover new perspectives and challenge your thinking to unlock your true potential.

Being coached will help you guide yourself to where you want to be, more efficiently, faster and easier than on your own.  By digging deep and raising your own self-awareness, you will be motivated to take responsibility to move positively to your forward-thinking space to pro-actively reach your desired outcome.

How life changing this process could be is up to you.  Each session is bespoke to you and the goal you bring … a designed alliance.

Coaching is not Advice: It is not my role as a coach to give advice.  On the contrary.  My role is to encourage, support and build on your strengths to help you guide yourself and take ownership of your desired outcome and successes-hugely empowering! I bring no pre-conceived ideas or judgement, but act as a catalyst for change.  I have full confidence and trust in the effectiveness of the coaching process, combined with developing an open and honest relationship between client and coach.  Coaching is about guidance and helping you learn, not teaching you, allowing you to generate great solutions that best fit your circumstances.  I do however provide powerful tools and processes that help your growth and personal development.  You will be coming up with your own answers based on the open questions I shall provide.  Generally, it is more empowering when one fully owns their outcomes and successes.  This is truly where the magic happens …

How coaching differs from therapy or counselling: As with therapy or counselling we will delve into the past for reference or inspiration related to your goal.  We will also be spending a sufficient amount of time in your reality (present), which is highly beneficial to start with.  However, it is important to keep in mind that coaching focuses on future possibilities, not past failures and my sessions are a goal centred, forward moving process.
